Family Update...halloween

Thought we better do an update on the family.

Taylor is still in college, and just saw "Death of a Salesman". He claims that by the end of a very boring and tedious movie, he wanted "someone to die". He dressed up and sat on our porch and scared all the trick or treaters. Some even threw candy at him. He was in his element. He is starting to date a little, and seems to be enjoying life and his PlayStation 3. All you cousins, make sure you play it when you come over.

Madison is still liking High School, and is again volunteering at the Hospital. She hopes to be in the drum line and percussion group that the school is starting. She got a nice calculator to do her math with...since she is in advanced classes. The thing cost 120.00. Wow. She hangs with her friends, and went over to a friend for Halloween. She is very excited to drive, and we went up to the church parking lot to practice a little.

Regan is loving 6th grade and her teacher. She had her last trick or treat through the neighborhood. We went on my scooter. She had a classroom party as well, that both Tawny and I went to. She was a cowgirl. On Halloween night, she went as a hunchback, which got a lot of appreciation from the houses, as it was very "old school". She is getting excited to go into young women's, which happens early next month. Her best friend is already going, so that makes it even more exciting.

BJ is still hating cats, and loving Tawny. He is also very protective of Saki, when he comes over. He does have a problem with pillows, but we are staging an intervention soon for him. He thinks the sun and moon rise over Tawny, and she barely tolerates him. He barks at me, when I get too close to Tawny.

Marty, still working in the prison, as well as with the kids with Autism, it is a lot of work, but we finally are getting to get out from under the unemployment rock. I am still applying for jobs at ISU, and just interviewed with the church for a professional position at DI. We will see what happens there. Still riding the scooter...of course...and hope to hit a couple of scooter rallies this next year. I would also like to be able to get the kids up to Washington this summer.

Tawny still has her cleaning business and it is humming right along. She wishes she could get some employees, as people call her all the time to clean their house. She loves that Costco is in town, and is saving money right and left. The only thing better is the dollar store:) She is still YW President, and all the girls love her. She does all that, and the majority of all the housework so she is busy. We just pulled the carpet out of our bedroom, and she is very pleased.

Overall we are doing well, and appreciate our family. They have been a great support to us, and we can't thank you enough for your generosity when I was out of work.

Love you all.
